Frenchy Necklace Tutorial

I have never seen a necklace on a cloche before...I love it....It is in my bathroom :)

Making the base of this necklace is very easy. The hardest part is to find the flowers.

Here is my trick for the flowers. I made those in the picture, but you don't have to make them.
You can buy them on Etsy...local stores...Buy hand made....It will show and the result will be prettier.
I choose flowers with the same color tone, different textures and different materials. They have to be all different and interesting. I chose. Black, white and brown colors.
If you put the flowers together, they look good. Play around with the flowers you get. Make sure also that they don't look to Baby looking.
I love bright colors too and a cream, yellow and brown would look good.....Lots of possibilities...

Arrange them on your felt as a heart shape, play around with them, to see where each one look the best... It will fit your décolletage...
Trace with chalk the design....Not too wide, under the flowers...You don't want to see the felt underneath too much..

Cut the shape and Hot glue your ribbon....Making a square shape with the glue so it is not too hard to attach the pins on it...

I hot glued the end of the ribbon too with a small hot glue gun.
Make sure the ribbon has no wire in it.

If you buy Flowers and they are not brooches ....Cut the attachment off with a tool and hot glue a brooch attachment on it.

Here is the back of a flower i bought for my baby.

Here the tool...

The pin, you buy at the craft store.

How you want the back to look. Hot glue everything...I added a piece of felt and hot glue it all.

Now pin all the brooches on the Heart base...
I played a little with it and added a brooch on the right side...

This is a neutral, so pretty and goes with any color...You get a lot of attention wearing it....Good attention :)

All my linking parties are on my right side bar by day of the party.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful necklace tutorial. Hey, why don't you make one with fleurs-de-lis? :-)

You're so talented! And you have a wonderful family! Congratulations on all your achievements, specially on becoming an American citizen soon!

Oh, let me introduce myself: I'm from Spain, but I live in... Utah too.

I hope to come back to your Château des Fleurs soon! I put it among my favourites list in my computer. :-) (I don't have a web page--yet).

Hello,

I am just now reading your comment to a recent blog. Thank you for signing up to follow me and of course, I'll do the same. I am anxious to peruse your past posts to get to know you better.

I am just an American with a dream to visit Paris before I die. That doesn't seem to much to ask, does it? I am for French heritage and somehow it has just been burning in my bones to see the home country and of course, visit the City of Lights and Love!

Thanks for sharing your blog with us! Hope you have a great week.
