Ivory Homes is the #1 Home builder in Utah. They are having a great celebration at their Model Home 5761 S. Erekson Ln. (730 E) Murray, Utah
You can win 2 KitchenAid mixers with their Instagram contest. Today March 9th.

We had a great Blogger event and cupcake contest for raising money for our favorite charity with Ivory Homes.

The living room and fire place is just stunning in their model home

Love this chest and pictures on the wall. Gorgeous! We had accessories for taking pictures of our cupcakes

This beautiful flower and moss box and the coffee table

French topiary, gorgeous settee in the living room

The master bedroom bed

And side table

The master bathroom with marble tiles. I love the subway tiles!

In the kitchen again with the marble subway tiles. I would like this stove please! Professional range

Gorgeous kitchen with marble counter tops with Aprons from 4 retro sisters. Don't you love it?!

Our  Utah blogger group in the Ivory Homes model Home. Hosted by Entirely eventful.

4 retro sisters gave us Aprons,
One sweet slice gave us a class on how to frost cupcakes. They are the winner of Cupcake wars!
Katie Bitter and  Queen B and me taught us about taking pictures on your phone and making them pretty on Instagram
We got to experiment with Rhonna Designs Fonts also.

This is a contest and the winner will get $150 Gift card to Crate and Barrel and money for their favorite charity. I made a cupcake that represent Autism. The blue puzzle piece is their symbol.

My charity is Autism Council of Utah
100 % non profit for Autism in Utah

You can help by repinning my cupcake on Pinterest here:

And also by liking my cupcake on Instagram here:

1 repin = $1
 1 like = $1

Thank you so much for helping and thanks to Ivory Homes for the opportunity.

Camilla the night baker and what inspires me Friday

Camilla inspired me this week, A talented baker, she's raised money for treatment with bake sales. She suffers from Anorexia and needs a very expensive treatment. She is asking for help. Learn more here
It takes a lot of courage and humility to ask for help when you need it. I applaud her and i know she can do it.
What inspired you this week among all the craziness?
You can share below..XO

Campus book rentals

Anyone going to college or know someone who need to get books for cheap?
I find a great place where you can rent books.Campus book rentals
You save 40-90% off of bookstore prices, free shipping both ways, can highlight in the textbooks, flexible renting periods...

They partnered with Operation Smile and are donating over 1,000 life saving cleft lip surgeries this year to children in need.So for EVERY book rented starting now, they will donate a portion of those proceeds to Operation Smile.

Love that! when companies try to make a difference!

Join them on FACEBOOK too! Twitter here.

Meet Anna...The sweetest girl

I received an Email from Anna's Mom...Asking me to help. Her Sweet daughter Anna has Rett Syndrome- a terrible neurological disorder that is primarily found in girls. They are born "normal", but between 6-18 months of age they lose their ability to walk, talk and any functional use of their hands. At this point in time there is no cure; however in 2007 scientists were able to reverse Rett symptoms in mice. Hopefully in God's perfect timing there will be a cure for Rett Syndrome and these amazing girls will have the
future that they deserve and will no longer suffer!!!!

So you will ask me....What can we do ?
First,Check out all the cute girls and their stories and Donate even a small amount at girlpowertocure.org
Here is Anna's story

Then spread Anna's page and story to your readers...Also share on Facebook, Twitter...etc...Please help.
I do my best to help on my side but with you guys...We can make a difference.

And pray for a cure...and for the girls.

Maddie James

"On Friday, January 14, 2011, our only child, Madeleine James, was in school, enjoying her kindergarten lessons at St. Anne and playing on the playground with all of her friends.
Two days later, on Sunday morning, January 16th, we were told Maddie was going to die"
Read her story and learn how you can donate to keep her memory alive.

*Edited* Sorry about the confusion about Maddie. She is not our daughter. My heart brakes for her family.  Please help her by donating or by helping her getting on the Ellen show. Thank you so much.
