Fall trip to the canyon

we missed the red leaves by 2 weeks I think. We live in the valley and the Fall colors are very late compare to the canyons. It was till pretty and next year we will make it. One year I need to get there and take a family picture. We enjoyed the river also.

Happy Fall!

Throwback Thursday and Jefra Linn photography

That time when I was a model for Nichole V and Jefra Linn photography took a picture and I didn't know it was her until I saw the picture. Pretty cool! She is a very famous photographer in Utah.

Trip to a cabin for the 4 th of July

Our cute little cabin on the top of the mountain
My favorite thing of all time is to rent a cabin and spend time in nature. We went to the big cottonwood canyon on the 4 th of July.

The tired gang.

We hiked all day.

A beaver cut this tree down

This little girl was running everywhere.

And being packed

The big cottonwood canyon is very beautiful. There is a lake on the top of the mountains and great trails.

My husband says we finally got a family picture. That's why I need a photographer folks.

We had a little party with a Boss cake, burgers and smore's

How was your 4 th of July?

The Paris bistro: Alt summit, Tiny prints

I started the Alt summit blogger conference with a fantastic Dinner at The Paris Bistro in Salt lake city. As you know I am from Paris and I am always hesitant when I eat at a French restaurant because I have been disappointed in the past. Not here. The food was delicious and authentic. Beautifully arranged in your plate. We had a 4 meal course and it was splendid! Like at home in Paris! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

The table was styled by Aubrey of French Knot studios. She even gave me one of the pink vases with flowers to take home. She doesn't know how much it made me happy. I always have flowers in my home. I love flowers!
Maria Fuentes from Tiny prints sponsored the dinner party.
She gave us some pretty sweet gifts. A tiny prints ipad case and Easel art made with printable designs by TomKat studio. An Essie Nail polish and a notebook. Perfect since I like to write my notes on paper. Also some pretty amazing Cookies by Sweet Kiera.

I also got to meet Briton Alo, the blogger behind Rad Mom Cool Kid. We know each other from Instagram.
More exiting events tomorrow...

Pharrell Williams - Happy (Official Music Video)

This song is a big hit in Utah. I like it. It's simple and I think that being happy is found in simple things and little things. It's all in your head to start.
This songs makes me happy...That's all.

Los cucos Mexican cafe : It's a date!

Hubby is a big fan of Mexican food. I love it too but I have to say it always tastes the same to me. But not to Los Cucos in Sandy. This is really, amazing delicious Mexican food. The best I had so far. Russ had the fried avocado and I had the fish tacos. The restaurant looks good inside too. The server was very classy  and proper. Hubby and I go on lots of date but I don't always blog about it. Only if the place was really good.

Chinese new year date at Ho Ho Gourmet restaurant

Hubby was craving authentic Chinese cuisine and that sounded so good to me too! I love sweet pork buns a lot so much that I crave them and salivate just thinking about it. Russ wanted potstickers and got shrimp ones. OH so GOOD! We also got their orange chicken dish and it was the best I ever had so far. The restaurant is not grand inside but the food is excellent at the Ho Ho Gourmet restaurant in Salt lake city.
Do you like authentic chinese food? Have you tried?

Winter fashion: Cute sweater from 6KS

Happy New Year! I have been wearing this cute sweater from 6KS. It's very cold here and the snow is not melting very much. Looks like we will have a long winter. I surely enjoy a pretty sweater and winter accessories! I really like this sweater, it's very warm, soft and fluffy. I recommend it. The price is pretty good too!

I took this scarf out of a cardigan. It's the collar. It looks very cute on the top of a sweater. I got the hat from my Mom for Christmas from Paris.

Golden Christmas Tree Print Soft Hair Loose Round Collar Sweaters / Fur scarf from a cardigan / La redoute Soft grey beige hat / Old navy Skirt / No boundaries ecru leggings / Earth spirit brown boots.

Do you have a favorite clothing item for winter? Mine are those boots. The only boots I have for snow and I am wearing right now.
Stay warm! From Utah with love,

Winter wonderland

We have a winter wonderland here in Utah, I bet the ski resorts are loving it! The kids are having fun playing in the snow after school. My work outs are paying off. I helped a neighbor's car getting off an ice patch. The kids were pretty proud of it! Yay! Me.
The baby is loving the snow too and doesn't know still what to think of it. Mimi has been building a snow fort.
We have to throw our dog outside to go pee. He is not liking it. I have been shoveling the driveway a lot and I am counting it as a workout. LOL
I started giving Christmas presents. The time went way too fast although I am ready for Christmas with all the presents, I wish it would last a little longer. The kids have their last day of school today.
Are you ready for Christmas?
