Our 15 years Anniversary

It's kind of weird and surreal but we have been married for 15 years. 

I could write a long love post but really 15 years speak for themselves.

Marriage is hard work and it's worth it and after all those years I still love him more than anything else.

How i met my husband, my love story

Few weeks ago, we went to memory lane and had dinner at the restaurant where hubby and i had our first date. Golden Isle Chinese restaurant in Murray, Utah.

We sat in the booth behind my boy.

we had coconut shrimp and Lobster shrimp, very yummy.

I met my hubby Russ 14 years ago, i was going to school in Orem to UVSC. Now an University.

I met him at church, he was checking out girls.

The day before, i had an 9 hour hike to the "Subway"

I was seated in the sacrament room with my best friend Marci and few rows  in front of us were 2 boys. I liked one right away and thought...perfect, Marci will go out with the other.

Then at the end of the meeting they both stood up and my choice "Russ" was even more handsome from the front. LOL

I saw him later in the hall and he asked me if i knew any good French restaurant and i said not really...then he said if i wanted to go out for Chinese food and i said yes...super fast. I was totally in love. Love at first sight. His light green eyes were so gorgeous!

I was jumping up and down afterward and could not believe it because guys don't usually ask you out at church.

We were married 6 months later.

For me it was very important to have a spiritual confirmation or good feeling to know marrying Russ was the right thing to do. I take my marriage vows with God very seriously.

I had my answer at the Jordan river Temple.

In my faith we believe that we are married for ever.

Special K Commercial 2012 Closet Like a Candy Store with "beautiful" song

I am in LOVE with this commercial, the music, studio apartment decor. The music is so darling it makes me happy.

I totally want to stencil walls now and turn a room into a candy closet. I find this stencil. What do you think ?

In red, it would match the wall in the commercial.

I heard a lot of times that your house and closet should match and represent you. Use the colors you wear on your walls. I have been thinking about my clothes lately. Do they represent my taste in home decor? 

I love black and white, Shabby chic. I am also attracted to all the colors in the rainbow.

I just love a lot of things.

If you look in the commercial. The home decor really represent her wardrobe, colorful.

So spring is calling me, I may be able to fit my clothes soon. I give myself till the end of my 6 weeks recovery to start walking 30 minutes a day till my body can handle running. I have find that running everyday is the fastest way to loose weight and shape up. I know it's not fun but after dealing with gestational diabetes, i have to brake it to you folks. You have to exercise if you don't want to have early Diabetes and cholesterol. That is just how it is. And when you hit your late 30s, your body doesn't work the same or look the same if you don't put some efforts to keep it in shape.

Oh and by the way i like the chocolatey delight special K a lot. I eat it for breakfast and it takes care of my chocolate craving for the day and helps me loose weight. Love it!

Between naps on the porch

2 weeks more to go and i want to bleach everything. Random things like you have never seen me write.

The time has come when the house calls me for deep cleaning and germ phobia. My poor beaten body trying to clean the kitchen floor at 9 PM. Staying awake thinking about bleaching the bath tub (the baby is keeping me awake anyways, but still...). Buying a lot of Clorox scrubbing wipes and making the kids scrub everything in sight.

Washing all the baby clothes. Buying things i need for her. Diapers, wipes, Lavender baby shampoo and oil. (Babies are expensive) Having a desire for everything Lavender. 

wanting to cook recipes i know i can't eat. Like Sopapillas.

Watching delivery videos and scaring myself out. 

I had my OB appointment yesterday. Looks like everything is doing good.

They did some monitoring and checked her water. 

I was scared.

I am skinny.

I am starving.

I can't wait to finally see her face. 

I am scared of seeing her (Hope she is perfect).

I just made cookies for the kids after school.

They are very good. The crumbs were good.

Glad it is not snowing in the Valley. I don't want to drive in the snow even if it is 5 minutes away to pick the kids after school.

Letting you know that my blog is not a cooking blog. It's just the only thing i think about these day. Food and it shows.

My craft supplies are still in boxes somewhere and it is driving me nuts.

I just find my maternity clothes. 2 weeks before delivery. Yes. Don't move when you are sick and pregnant. Big NO NO

I am happy, i have cute and comfortable clothes now. Hahaha

Mother, daughter date

Yesterday was all about Mom and Daughter fun.

We made a craft.

Had a cupcake at the Sweet Tooth Fairy.

Then to the store to get her few things she needed.

Was the best day. We had a lot of fun.

13 th Anniversary and pregnancy picture

We started the new year with our anniversary. 13 years.

We went to Apple bees. Hubby got the salmon and i got a steak.

We had the Peppermint chocolate chip milkshake from Chik-fil-A.

Oh so good. I had a little bit of it but it was all worth it!

It is so cheap too! Around $2 for a small cup (not so small).

Pregnancy pic! I can't wait to look like myself!

I gained 1 pound this week. Total of 19. Everything is normal and fine. I am still not on medication for the Gestational diabetes. I follow the diet to the letter.

Lately things stay on the floor if they are on the floor as you can see in the picture. I am too big to pick anything up.

Olive Garden restaurant and i am getting fat

Hubby chose the Smoked Mozzarella Fondue, Oh so good!!!

I had the Chicken & Gnocchi soup and bread sticks, so good for my poor tummy!

Hubby had the Eggplant Parmigiana. His favorite!

So i saw my Doctor and find out, i gained 8 pounds this month! He said...Don't do that every month...

I was kind of mad, because i have not been eating candy bars like i use to..and i gained weight on not really yummy foods...It's not like i eat out and eat at yummy restaurants!!!

I always say...If i have to gain weight, i will do it eating yummy stuff!

 Darn...I guess being stuck in the house and not moving so much will do it.

My last pregnancy, i gained 60 pounds. I was eating at Arby's almost everyday.

I wasn't sick the whole pregnancy!

I told myself i would not do that again...oh so not healthy!

And i haven't! No fast food!

So now for a total of 13 pounds gain so far.

Man, it's hard to be pregnant! Almost 6 months.

10 years ago, i was pregnant with Mimi. Watching the horror on TV in our Seattle tiny apartment. I will never forget. It still hurts for all the lives who got changed that day. God bless them and this Country.

Confessions of a video games player

I have a confession to make. Not one you would expect. In fact, no one ever expected it, when i was in the center of it. 

It all started when my son turned 3. I was at home with him all day and i started getting very bored. 

I have always been very good at video games which made it very fun. Winning is always a fun thing.

I started playing Guildwars during my son's naps. It is an interactive game online with real players.

I first was a warrior with a hammer...pretty powerful after few months too!. I mastered few characters after that. I was a very good monk. Great Elementalist.  

I loved my pets...

My name as a warrior was isafrenchy. My pet was Cocochanel. The guys would make fun of my pet until they find out that i was a real girl...Actually i think they never believed i was a girl.

I find myself with a lot of friends... virtually... They were always there to go kill a dragon or do an hard quest.

I felt well accomplished... finishing 3 discs of quests. I could master all the spells very well and started perfecting my attacks.

At my one year Anniversary i was given a little dinosaur as a pet for a gift and...i notice something...really scary...

The number of miles my characters had run. It was a lot...I thought... if i would have run those miles...do you know how my body would look like? 

I would look like my character.

Then, i learned that my best partner was not a girl but a 13 year old boy, i had played with him for a year...Quite confusing...

I thought of all this time i could have spent getting real life friends and i felt sad.

I stopped playing.

I still miss it sometimes.

I miss the adrenaline, the adventure. Not thinking about my problems. 

The beauty of the graphics, the laughs and feeling like you are on the top of the world.

I wanted to invest in my real life. I got my nickname Frenchy from my warrior character.

This is what i learned about video games. When adults play. They have to decide on their own not to play. It is an addiction and until they see, that they can spend their time more productively. They won't change.

I 've had nausea for 1 month now and pretty much house/bed bound. Food grosses me out...everything grosses me out. Oh the joy of pregnancy :)

I was not sick for my last pregnancy, so i am very surprised...I guess all pregnancies are different.

Happy 4th of July week-end!!!!

I have some great news to share with you. I am an Author!!. I have been working very hard at this book. Editing pictures and writing the cutest poem. It is beautiful!! I am so happy with it!

It all started more than 1 year ago when my daughter had to say good bye to her Binkies. I had done the balloon ceremony with my other Daughter and knew it would work with her, although if you know my Fairy...She is very stubborn...Must be the Breton blood (Bretagny in France). we send her Binkies attached to pink balloons to the Babies in Heaven.

It worked so well...it was too good to be true. I took pictures and made a post and got 85 comments from wonderful readers! A lot of them telling me I should make it a book! I did!!! Thank you so much for all of you and your support!!!

I saw this super cool Tiger print white T-shirt at Romwe and i had to get it! $18 with free shipping.

This is a thick shirt. Very good quality and i love the beads. I wanted to do a rock style. I thought that Faux leather leggings would work and fun red platform shoes, red lips...It worked...Adding something"leather" always work for a rock style.

I used curlers to make my hair super curly.

Utah is very Country so i got noticed...There is no rule...even if you live in the Country, wear what makes you happy!

When ordering online make sure to measure yourself with a sewing measure tape...So the items fit you.
