This is one of those days

This is one of those days, when i am tired of the criticism by people who should encourage me. When i am tired of being told that i can't write but people don't care because i am French....
Tired of being told that...Sorry...I thought you were a bad mother but i guess your blog shows the opposite....Some people need a big punch in the face....I am very tired of the insults....Honk, if you know someone who needs a punch in the face!

My Wednesday linking parties are on my side bar... Leave me a comment...I will follow you back.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by now, but it never ceases to amaze me what people will say.

The rest of us moderately sane people, however, have fun reading your blog.

Lots of love and a kick in the shins for the meanies ;)

Hi! Visiting through Welcome Wednesday and I TOTALLY know a couple people who need a punch in the face. Hang in there!

Oh man, I had to laugh out loud, because my sister in law and I say that ALL.THE.TIME. When we get frustrated with someone, we always say, "I'm just gonna punch her in the face"... And then we laugh histerically, lol! I'm sorry you feel that way, but just know you are NOT alone!

I'm so sorry people are being rude. Don't really understand the "why" behind it. Hoping your day turns around and a glass of wine finds it way into your hands asap!

Aww Frenchy : ( I'm sorry you're having a bad day! Well, just know that we (your readers) love you VERY much. I happen to think you look like a wonderful momma too! So there, you stinkin' meanies!

Marnie said...

They are just jealous of you. Let's face it, most people don't take pride in anything nowdays and you clearly do. The fact that they feel comfortable saying such things shows a lack of proper upbringing.

P.S. I always think about tripping mean people ;0)

I am following you from Welcome Wednesday!

I was going to say the same thing as some of your other commenters. I just went through the same thing recently with a LOT of criticism from so called people who cared about me. And then someone "woke" me up to realize that those who criticize are those who are very sad sad people. They may want what you want. They have a hard time finding happiness in their lives and see that YOU are happy. Misery loves company. Don't allow them to have the pleasure of your company. ; D You are a wonderful mother, who cares so much about your children. Clearly. Just be who you are. Always. Because clearly someone wishes they were just like YOU! ; D

People can be so rude! Try and just think positively.

I experience this with teaching. There's always one student that just has to be negative. He or she will just get me down all semester. So much so that I want to crack. When this happens, I try and think about all the good students I have. There are always way more good apples then bad ones.

Debbie said...

SAY WHAT!!!!???? People actually criticize YOU??? For heaven sake - what for? Didn't their Mother ever teach them "if you don't have something nice to say - don't say it at all"!!!!! I simply can't imagine being nasty to someone, and certainly would never (ever) in my life leave a negative comment on someone's blog. I think I would be devastated to get one on mine. Girlfriend – don’t you let those meanies get you down… I think you’re the BEST, and so do a LOT of other people!!! Hope you feel my hug all the way to your house!!!

Frenchy, Sometimes the rude comments by others can make us not want to be like that. We can grow. It can hurt, but we can be a more sensitive and caring person.

I'm recovery from surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid...and though I am way older than you...I have been reviewing my past and thinking over so many regrets.

Life is short this side of heaven.
I will WILL it to look for God's blessings and not spend so much time entangled by those that spoke such rude things. They need to gain some manners. With God's help they will. So it's alright to pray that God bless them...they need the blessing.

I cheer you on.

Frenchy, your blog and your words bring a smile to my face every time I visit you here. You're always upbeat, fun and obviously love your life and your family - you are a joy to know! Oh those poor things are just jealous. Don't take it to heart. Just feel bad for them that they are so sour! :)

Hi Frenchy,

Oh my just still amazes me how heartless and rude people can be.

Just blow off those negative impressions that are being tossed at you. Believe in yourself always and don't let their opinions affect you.

Just baffles and confuses the totally miserable people..LOL

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

I have found that people that say rude or nasty things usally are the unhappy and sad and are actually envious of you.
Try not to let it get you down...sometimes the hardest part. I tend to dwell on it and beat myself up then my husband will point out the outlandishness of it all.
Ignore then and have a wonderful day!!

Oh Thank you for your encouragements....It was one of those days.....Love to you all.

What someone is being mean to My Frenchy.
Not funny. You were one of the very first to reach out to me when I started blogging. You take time in your super busy life to stop by and read my blog. Why are people so mean. I know that
Nie had mean people comment on her blog. So don't feel offended, those people are just insane.
I love you and I know others chin up and go forward. XO

Bonjour Frenchy,
Oh I am sorry you have experienced some mean spirted comments. Try to ignore them, that is the best course of action! They are simply not worth getting you down! I am amazed at how well you write - I can relate since I have the opposite problem - I am an American living in France. Happy to report all the French are so sweet and patient with my terrible Fench!!

Hang in there and ignore them stinkers - though they do need a good punch in the face!
Take care,
