Being a Mom means lots of kisses, hugs and love.
Making her feel wanted, cared for.
Holding her when she sleeps because I am too tired to do anything else.
Having my life on hold to watch her grow.
No shower and messy hair.
Lack of sleep.
Dressing her cute and looking like crap.
Dressing up and nowhere to go.
Running out the door by myself and feeling on vacation.
Catching her when she falls.
Laughs, funny faces and sounds.
Making a cardboard house, painting her nails.
Eating bananas, cheese and on the go apple sauce.
Seing her feeding the dog her food.
Grabbing everything, pushing everything, pulling everything and cleaning poop on the bathroom floor.
Cute baby sounds...bath bath bath.
Wishing my Mom was here to help me and talk to me.
What does being a Mom means to you?

This is such a sweet post! I so remember those days! Sometimes all the hard work is a blur and all I remember is the love I had for those little creatures! This is the most important job you'll ever do and it doesn't matter to them if you've had a shower or not (but please find time for yourself!).
Being a mom means I have more love than I could ever ask for!
Your little darling has grown so much and she is SO pretty!
XO,
Jane
So sweet. I would have to think about that.
Precious, precious.
That was a beautiful post.
Isabelle, that is the sweetest post ever. Many of us who are moms can identify with every one of those feelings. I wish your mom could be there too.xoxo
Isabelle,
I love how you expressed yourself in this. Any woman who has had children can completely understand all of those emotions. I remember missing my mom so much when my babies were small--just wanting her there with me. You are not only a wonderful mom, but an inspiration to so many of us through your blog...and to top it off...young and vibrant and beautiful!
xoxo.
