I planted pumpkins in my front flower bed with the purple petunias.
I think it is one of my tradition. I plant pumpkin seed with the kids and we have cute pumpkins for Halloween.
Growing up in an apartment in Paris. I really appreciate and enjoy planting pumpkins.
This is my ways of getting ready for Halloween...3 months ahead.
I love to also make French soup with the Pumpkin. Just replace the squash by pumpkin.

This was a great idea! The leaves of the pumpkins look beautiful with the flowers. I hope you get many, many pumpkins!!

I'm mentally ready for fall and Halloween. I look forward to seeing what you do with your pumpkins.
We are growing pumpkins too. It has been so hot here. The plants have to be watered constantly.

That's a wonderful idea......if the petunia's are still blooming when the cute orange pumpkins appear...that will be a great color combination. Hope you are starting to feel better and the morning sickness has subsided.
I'm going on my first trip to Paris and Provence in October. We will be staying near the Latin Quarter while in Paris. Do you have any suggestions of exciting things to do....(besides the obvious...:)...)
That's great that you plant pumpkins so they're ready for you in the Fall. I just love Fall - my favorite season. You are so creative, and your kids are lucky to have such a fun mom!
