Le Chateau des fleurs, Breakfast Nook spring makeover

So i already decorated my Fire place Mantel in January, HERE, more pictures HERE. I thought it was time for the Breakfast nook....

So here it was yesterday...

Here today...

First, the table...Bunny, glass container, faux stained glass frame, Birdhouse and spring flowers...

This little bunny came with a purple bow, i changed it for a white...

Now for the buffet...

This little Angel was 5 years outside, cleaned it up a little bit....but it still looks weathered not muddy...

I bought those frames, Hand painted them gold, crackled coat, white paint on top.....The post cards are from Paris. In Paris, Showing affection and kissing in public is normal...people do not get offended. If you go to Paris, be prepared to see a lot of kissing. LOL.

A pillow on the floor? I like it Mommy...

You can see the Mantel from the Breakfast nook...Perfect...

Tutorial on Stained glass frame.

See this cute frame....

First i got a frame at a Thrift store, i like the details on it....Painted it white, then i sanded it...

Then at a Craft store i bought Faux Stain glass led. It is adhesive on the back...You just take off the tape.
Stained glass paint...Gold Sparkle and Crystal clear here. I used the gold.
A tool to smooth the led....Use glove too. The sharp edges of led can cut.

Have your design prepared on paper or your head. Apply the led, cut with scissor to fit.
Paint and let dry.

I Put a hanging thing in the back. The cord is solid but when i hang it, i cover it with ruban and a bow.

Cute!  You can also ask your builder to give you an out of reach window and do this. Or do it on your Bathroom window for privacy...

The stained glass frame is super easy to do and you can make one for each room with different colors and style. Very cheap. Great gift too...:)

You have inspired me. When the workers are done in the basement, I am going to have them come and paint all of my ceilings light blue on the upper two levels. We already have bright blue ceilings in my front room and I have been debating about what to do with the other ones--knowing I wanted color and leaning toward blue but not sure. Anyway, thank you. And my house thanks you as well. (I like light colored, walls in most cases and I love painted ceilings.)
