Awesome post...considering we have been having some great conversations with my 13 year old. Kids are so misinformed...fortunately, he comes to us and asks lots of questions...we even look things up as well to show him.
Frenchy!! This post is startling. True life results of the ravaging of drugs on a persons physical self I am sure only reveal the little of what is happening to the heart and soul of a person. I am praying for your healing Frenchy and so concerned for your health. So sorry for what you had to go through health community wise...I didn't want it to put a damper on your peace and joy in becoming an American citizen by dealing with our sad state of health care in most parts, not all, but most. I pray for you and your dear family. Love, Jenny
This is all so sad. What I can't get over is how some of these people were so dammaged within a few months. My daughter is small, but when she's old enough, this would be a good thing to demonstrate. Great post.
The damages of drug use is startling. It ravages the drug user and the people who love him/her. But, zombies..I don't think so. My daughter is fighting for her life..she is certainly no zombie..she is a woman with severe problems and trying to overcome something that has overtaken her life. I still see her as a person with worth..maybe someday soon she will too.
Thanks for visiting "Mrs. No-No Knows"! I am now following you back! :) Hope you will stop back often and put in your two cents. Carla aka Mrs. No-No Mrs. No-No Knows
There was an anti drug campaign in North Dakota (I think) that featured faces, because of the outside damage done by crystal meth. I saw a special on it and it said that the campaign was the most effective anti drug campaign ever because people saw the outside effects. Apparently no one cares about the inside damage to their lungs or brain, but they do care about their faces. Interesting...
I was just going through my links under favorites and came across your blog. I wanted to leave a comment to this. I saw this article on msn and showed my 10 year old son the pictures as well. Hopefully it sunk in, he is a smart boy. Hugs Michele
Hi Frenchy ~ How awful! So hard to believe, but there it is. I will show this to my 13 year old as well. Thank you for the very shocking truth. Ive been out of Bloggerville for awhile - Must go back and read your posts now. Hugs to you - Dee XO

This article has been popping up everywhere I look! I think it is shows really well what damage drugs can do. Thanx for sharing!
What a wake up call. It's shocking to see how fast it happens too. There is nothing in their eyes. It was so hard to look at that I had to stop.
Sorry Ann about your daughter. Hugs to you.
