It was such a pretty warm day yesterday ! I am so glad....We planted hundreds of Tulips ! I was so happy ! I know it sounds weird that i would spend money and time planting when i am renting this house...But one thing i dislike is a house looking like a rental...My Fairy helped...She learned how to place the bulbs so fast ! I think she will be a good gardener :)
Placing the bulbs...
Covering them with dirt...
Do you see Angel ?
Today, i am grateful for bulbs. For beautiful flowers it will give us in spring ! And for cute little helpers !
Have a lovely day !
I am joining some blog parties, the links are on my side bar. It is there 24/7.

Your house will look SO pretty in the spring. We can't really grow tulips very well in Houston...it gets too hot...and not nearly cold enough. However, we do have daffodils and narcissus, paperwhites, etc. And they are gorgeous. Your little garden fairy is just precious. Have a wonderful weekend.
Having the bulbs bloom in the spring will make you feel so much more like you are at home. How long will you be renting? This house is just gorgeous!
XO,
Jane

LOVE Tulips!!!
what a lovely little fairy helper you have!
i think its wonderful that you are investing money and time into some happiness...maybe it's a rental, but you want it beautiful...
cannot wait to see how it all looks in Spring.
Love Love Loveee your blog!! thanks for following me! im now following back!!!!
I agree with your comment Frenchy. Regardless of where you live (own or rent) you should always take pride an make it a home. You will now have something cheerful in the spring :0)
. . . words cannot describe the inspiration I have derived already from this blog, and it's only been a few minutes! !!! :)
That's what I should do today, plant bulbs. My kids would love it. Thanks for the inspiration, and wonderful to meet you.
Rental or not a house in Spring isn't a home without their flowery cheerful faces inviting you to enter the garden.I think you spent quality time with your little helper and some lessons learned and a package of colour to greet you next Spring. All worth the time, effort and cost.
I plant narcissus since the little squirrels eat the tulips and I adore the scent plus they are disliked by the tiny critters and are quite prolific in returning each and every year twofold. I have a pkg of four bulbs that I haven't planted yet, better get to it tomorrow before I can't dig...Thanks for the reminder.

It is still nice outside...I really enjoyed planting those bulbs and you are right...Just good memories with my Fairy and beauty this spring...Big hugs to all of you !!!

She's a precious little helper! How cute!
Frenchy, you have an adorable helper! She is just the cutest! And no, I don't think it's a waste to plant flowers. You will thoroughly enjoy them when they bloom! And they will be like a gift to the next person who rents the house.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Great helpers you've got there even if one of them is trying to hide :)
I created a rose garden in one of the rentals we lived in. Loved it.
I should follow your lead and plant some bulbs too. Except I don't have an adorable helper like you. Sigh. You should have a very happy spring.
Hugs, Jeanne
I love to plant bulbs and my sons rent their house and we have gardened there for years. It's still your home and you should enjoy it!
