Happy Birthday and a French soup

Oh the neighbors gave me this enormous squash and i was so happy!
I made my Frenchy soup!

Frenchy soup

1 big squash
1 leek
1 branch of sage (from garden)
Bouillon de beef to taste (Beef stock).

Cut squash in big cubes. Wash and cut leeks in slices.
Brown tiny bit in stained less steel pan...
Add water. Beef stock. Sage.
Cook until squash is tender...take sage branch off and discard.
Serve with grated cheese and croĆ»tons...And help yourself first before the kids eat everything!!!!

So, the other night, it was very scary! I heard silverware handling in kitchen! I was....OH NOOOO More mess to clean. To find my fairy putting away the silverware in drawer  o_O
WOW The surprise!

Then i see on the counter...She had taken cups and filled them with ice and water....
I said....Wow you got water for everybody!

Then to hear her say...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
HAHAHA she is a party animal!
She has Nesquick chocolate milk on her face...What a French girl!

I think little ones go through a happy birthday stage. It is so much fun for them to pretend.
Once when Doodle was about 2, she yelled from the kitchen, "
Nanny, look, I amtaking a shower." I went into the kitchen and there she was taking a shower from the refrigerator water dispenser. SHe was covered in water. Wish I would have had my camera. It was the funniest thing ever. Once she wore a plastic strainer all day, including to music lessons and back. Happy Days.
