When you have a lost dog

I have been printing posters with Zacky's pictures to put at vets, mail box, farm store.
I spend hours looking at the lost pets last night, Lost and found and also selling pets on Abc, craigslist, KSL.
I am supposed to go to the pound every other day. They put dogs for adoption after 3 days. THIS IS CRAZY. They say that sometimes it could take months. He had a collar with tags, phone numbers, Microship.

Lola the diva and i have been crying since he left.

Lola wants a Maltese puppy if he doesn't come back, the same breed as Zacky.
The pound has a lot of small dogs, breaks my heart. I will be doing a lot of crying each time i am there.
Posting my kitchen tomorrow...I need to think" HAPPY".

Girl...I've been where you are. We left my 4lb yorkie with my mother when we had to make a trip out of town. Somehow she got out (she was a puppy back then...about 4 months old) and walked to who knows where before someone found her and picked her up.

We of course were NOT HOME when the lady who found our Miss Priss called. So...she drove by our house in hopes of leaving our pooch with a neighbor. My mother was frantic. She was looking everywhere and didn't know she was safe and sound and HOME!

Most people are honest. Take heart. I pray your doggie comes home.

Love to you~Rebecca

My heart is breaking for you and your family. A pet IS family! But let's think positive...I think people are mostly good and will return your pup. Keep us posted.

Oh, sweetie. I am so sorry about your lost dog. :(

Pets, especially dogs, really do become part of the family and losing them is painful...

It hasn't been that long, so don't give up hope yet. I hope he finds his way home or runs into someone smart enough to check his collar and return him. He couldn't have run off too far!

Do not lose hope. It is heartbreaking to go through this as we do become so attached to our fur babies. Praying for a happy ending...
