Lately in my life

soleil is growing very fast and loves the camera.

My African violet is re-blooming. Witch makes me so happy because i never had any flower inside my house re-bloom. The arrangement is doing great too.

Before and after so far.

My banana peppers are doing great and we had the best fajitas ever!

I finely met in person some great friends at the Parade of Homes. Jennifer and Cobi.

My Fairy started Kindergarten.

She is a Mommy's girl. She started saying Mama, Baba and Mimi (her big sister).

Zacky loves having a baby sister at the house. He love dirty diaper and binky chewing.

Fun summer activities for young children

With only one full month and a handful of days left in summer vacation, it isn't uncommon for parents to hear their children begging for more things to do. Complaints of being bored or that more activities need to occur might be happening and, if it is, it's time to figure out some fun summer activities for young children. There's still plenty of summer left to have a great vacation!

Even if you and your family don't have time to get to all of these ideas, that doesn't mean fun can't occur on nice days on the weekends or afterschool. You could also save these ideas for next summer, too! Here are some fun summer activities for young children to explore with your family:
Have a water balloon or water gun fight. Change up into your bathing suits and run around the yard trying to get each other wet. If it hasn't rained in a while in your area, wear sandals or flip-flops to prevent tiny feet from getting hurt from crunchy grass.

Go on a picnic at a park, at a playground, or in your backyard. Pack lunches for everyone into a picnic basket along with some snacks, a camera, juice, water, a blanket, and chapter books. Encourage the entire family to participate in this picnic. Encourage everyone in the family to go on this picnic, and to take turns reading from the books.

Put your kitchen to use by making play-dough or homemade ice cream in a Ziploc bag. These are great opportunities to teach your kids about measuring, and preparing things independently. Store the play-dough when they're finished playing with it and, of course, eat the ice cream. These types of projects are great for rainy summer days.

Get some glass jars with screw on caps, use a nail and hammer to punch some small holes in the cap, and catch fireflies with the kids. This summer activity is fun for everyone, but be sure to apply bug spray first to avoid too many mosquito bites. Before catching the fireflies, ask the kids to put some blades of grass and twigs into the jars first. Then, at bedtime, the jars can act as their nightlights.

Parade of homes and blogger's DIY house

Last night was a lot of fun. I was a VIP guest to the Bangerter's Parade of homes diy blogger house in Daybreak, South Jordan Utah. The house is amazing!
I love the blue, green. Touches of coastal with a modern twist. The house is so crafty!

The dinning setting is so fun!

The kitchen is white and crisp

I am in love with the pillows in living room

Modern chairs

Love those chairs in the master bedroom

I want this office!

I have painted baby furniture before. Love this green!
Believe it or not, i used to use the same brown paint hue on the walls. It is the perfect shade for any color furniture and accessories. You can change the decor an colors for each season and it still looks amazing!

The Parade is from August 3-18, 2012
I used to design houses and i really enjoy the inspiration from the Parade of homes!

All you can eat fiasco

I had the fabulous idea to go for dinner to an all you can eat buffet restaurant. So we could eat things that i don't have the time to cook. Well, the kids got fries, macaroni and cheese, hot coco, soda, ice cream.
It's very interesting and scary to see what kids will pick to eat on their own.

I think i have the only kid who will go get fries and comes back with a hand full of them. I made him get a plate.

Not to worry Soso was busy eating my purse and bread pudding!

The kids were so high on sugar that Fairy started making fun of a bold guy across the room. It was getting out of control and i ran out the door before i got kicked out of Chuck-a-rama!

Hope you get my humor, you surely need a lot of humor when you are a Mom!

French Love poem. Your eyes and the ocean

Picture of Hawaii, Kawaii. A long time ago.

Your eyes are like the eternal waves,
they take away my love beyond the expanses of blue, green and blazing.
Your eyes are like the light, they bring to my heart, the beauty, the splendor of what is most beautiful on earth.

I wrote this French poem when i was a teen. I lived at my Grand-ma's apartment after my parent's divorce at the time.

Day at Daddy's office

Saturday we went along to russ's office.
I apologize to co-workers for the kids going through the office.
Pictures speak for themselves.

They had drinks, draw pictures and left some of my business cards? I don't know, my girl appeared to have a bunch of them?
