Is it snowing in Paris ?

Well, Ok ! I don’t live in Paris but in Utah right now….I grew up in Paris though. I heard it is snowing in Paris right now, which means very sleeper y roads and sidewalks. Parisian don’t do snow boots. LOL

We do pretty and comfy boots, we walk everywhere !
This style would be perfect for Paris. We like black a lot and dark colors but interesting fabrics and patterns to make it more fun !

It is SOOOO cold in Paris and since we have to take the bus, subway (not too warm) and walk a lot. A nice quality coat is great. It has to look good also with everything.
The scarf is a must in Paris !
We always wear scarfs…Pretty ones and most of the time with color and interesting because of all the black we wear.

The everyday style in Paris is classy, trendy and versatile. We always dress up a little more than others would. We don’t have a lot of money, so we invest in some good pieces and pair with things we love but not expensive.

How do you shop ? expensive ? Sale ? Cheap ?

Bisous a toutes !

Grey leather boots from Target.

Unfortunately I have developed a "Mommy Uniform" of denim skirts and vneck tshirts. I have every color. I need a fashion makeover.

I love those boots!

I'm always trying to find a sale here or there in order to boost my wardrobe. I managed to score big recently with a 50% off sale, and bought nice pieces which I could mix with things I already had. It's easy to not care how you look when you're a plus size, but I'm trying to put more effort into it wherever I can.

You look super cute! I have always wanted to go to Paris.

I am not a very fashion forward person. I haven't bought myself new clothes in over a year. Haha.

You look gorgeous!

Every time I go to Europe, I save up for a great pair of boots. My sister in law usually has a beautiful pair, that I hope that I can find for a good price.

I usually love to mix all quality levels together. Shoes...is a different story, LOL! I have always spend a lot of money on shoes. It's my weakness and Italian leather hypnotizes me=0)

Other than that, my clothes are from everywhere. I tend to keep purchasing from whomever makes clothes that doesn't shrink and loose it's shape. I just bought a fun purple hat from Target, LOVE!

Have a great day my love,
XOXO,
Carol

Let me tell you, we just survived a snowy mountain crash a week ago and when it came time to get out of the car to let the police officer and assorted other people help me, I did think for a second that I was glad to be wearing my good jeans, cool boots, glam cardigan and flower hat. Of course, a minute later I dove into the car to get my husband's big huge jacket because it was too cold for my outfit, but hey, I was stylish for a couple of minutes there!

You look stylish and pretty as always. I'm afraid I shop too much. Clothes for lounging around, clothes for running errands and shopping, clothes for company and parties and clothes for formal occasions!! Way too much! But I love to shop. Lucky for me, my daughters and I wear the same size shoes, so we share!! We have lots of shoes and boots!

XO,
Jane

OH for snow . How fun I know it can be cold but with our fur coats and mink scarves we can stay warm also my leopard ugg boots I wear.(what about the new sequins Ugg boots) Also my black leather gloves with rhinestones on them. I just love winter clothes.
You look warm. I always shop sales however when I see something I don't think I can live without I pay full price like my ugg boots. I bought 2 different mink coats at estate sales. Then I have my Mothers's and some faux furs. So let it snow let it snow.

I looked at your chictopia and added you as a friend. I have an account there too but I haven't updated it in FOREVER! I love the fashion stuff, but I find that it can be too time-consuming, so I have to pick and choose what I do most. Chictopia has fallen to one of the last things I do.... But I do love your Chictopia, you have really cute, stylish, modest style. I like it a lot!! You should keep going with it because it's true that they need more examples of that kind of stuff on their site. I like the information you shared here about Paris, it's really interesting to learn about another place from someone who's lived there, especially someone with whom I have stuff in common (like the desire to dress modestly)!

I love Paris and French culture. I lived in Caen for a few months and would take the train to Paris to just shop and walk around the beautiful city. I wish my family could just move to France and live there forever. I think the French are often misunderstood and under appreciated by Americans (and vice versa).
