The Narrows in St George

St George is very weird....It is 4 Hours away.... about from Salt lake. It is warm all year long! No snow!
It looks like Salt lake....The desert. But the land is red!
It is extremely beautiful.

We went to the narrows...

So you see this crack...only kids can go through to the other side...parents go around to greet them...
The kids thought it was fun...I find it a little creepy. LOL

Here they are coming back...

I would love to live in St George....Warm all year long....The houses are very pretty...A lot of Italian styles and Spanish styles.

I do love it there, it's about 2 1/2 hours from us, we go there quite often and have family that live there. I could not stand to live there during the summer though, it gets way too hot! You guys should come through Capitol Reef National park on your way home and some see me!!! :D

Looks like a very interesting place...it reminds of the scenery in the movie Picnic at Hanging Rock! Thanks for sharing...did you take more photos of the European architecture in the town? Sounds beautiful!

Very cool! I will have to add that to our list of places to visit. My husband is a geography major and very interested in these kinds of places. The kids and I enjoy them as well. :)

We lived in Cedar City for a year. It's crazy! One hour drive and the weather is like being in another state! And they filmed High School Musical there as a stand in for New Mexico. Enjoyed your pictures.

Jeanine..Yeah! It is crazy! The weather is so different!
Julie...I will plan on it the next time. I SO want to see you!
The place is amazing and the history! Oh Wow! So interesting too.
I would love to live there even if it is hot in summer. The rest of the year is paradise!
I am happy you are enjoying the pictures. It is very dramatic with the red everywhere.

Our favorite things in St. George--the dinosaur tracks, Snow Canyon, and the old-time irrigation system. (Okay, maybe the kids weren't excited watching gardens get watered, but I thought it was cool!)
