Fairy garden in a pot.

I have a Garden craft for you. My kids love it, my friends copied it and it makes me happy.

This is a very cute idea if you want a Fairy garden but don't have your yard finished like me. It is in a pot...

I planted strawberries and pansies as a base for the planting...
The other plants change has they die or stop flowering. You can keep the plants in their pots also if you want and plant them in your yard when they stop flowering like Perennials...

I made this cute sign years ago and attached it to a garden mini trellis...
I used acrylic paints.
The sign is a wood plaque  from the craft store i printed the words i wanted in a pretty font....Copied it on transfer paper
Painted the rest...

I plant one tall plant behind.....Smaller in front...

The Mums went bad so i replaced them...I replaced the tulips too...

Great plants next...Changing with the season...

Here they are now...

Happy gardening week-end !

I just had a Deer eating my flower pots......Darn it!

I am going to plant flowers at the front door of the house we are renting, the minute we get there....No Deers there!
I am very exited! I love flowers and for me, having a garden brings me a lot of Joy.
Love you all!

Oh how sweet! We get a lot of deer here too (and bunnies and other critters who come in the night and eat the heads off our our flowers) but I love to see them.

Frenchy, this is a fantastic idea! I have pots in our back yard that i've filled, so i'm a little sad that i didn't think to include Emma in a pot or two. We are on vacation, but when we are back home, i'm going to try your idea! She will probably want to use her Little People instead of Fairies, but that's okay. :)

Sweet girl, this is so clever! Those deer are too much=0) I'm so excited about your move. I hope everything runs smoothly. I'm sure it's a big chore to pack everything up, but it will be over soon enough. I have to make my fairy garden this weekend.

Have a great night sweetie,
xoxo,
Carol

Pretty pot of flowers and a nice idea. Will do something like that for my front door , a nice way to greet someone.
Gets really frustrating when you plant, take care of and then the deer think you did it for them. All of my veggies in the garden have been eaten by rabbits and deer.
They have so many ticks and everytime we venture in the yard, we pick up a deer tick.

I'm stuck renting too, and I really miss the gardening. Thankfully I'm moving across the country in about a week, so hopefully flowers will be on the agenda this year!
Yours are beautiful! I adore them!

Oh what a great idea! I don't have a yard either, so this would be perfect for my apartment window! :)

Saw you're from Paris...I just got back from a trip there with my high school French teacher (college graduation present from my parents :)) and I have a link to my pictures on my post! :)

Creative Genius....AS USUAL!:) I luv all the floral beauties you picked. I have some strawberries out in the front"garden" (NOT exactly, but that is what I call IT:) The strawberries are pretty hardy...They made it through the "Great Florida Freeze of 2010" I was really surprised after I managed to emerge from hibernation and ventured outside again. Ahhh, just thinking of that has cooled me off a little...YEAAAA!!

Happy Weekend!!

Ohhh, those are delightful! My senior mom does her gardening in pots as well. She has been busy planting a mini vegetable garden to go along with her first project of growing rosemary plants. The nice thing is that we can have such wild and wooly storms here, she uses her little garden wagon to move the pots out of the heavy rain and back and forth from sun to shade. Works well for her. :) Thanks for sharing the lovely photos.

Cute!

I fully understand your deer frustration. They ate my mini orchard! They're expensive little boogers.
