Day 1, Valentine countdown
Hot coco. The mug is from Target. Mush mallows from the dollar store. Hand made card by Myself.

This is what we use in France for Hot coco and cold ones too. Very soluble. This is what i grew up drinking on. Heat 1 cup milk for 2 Tbsp powder in pan until boiling. Serve.

Very cheap and easy to make cute card. I wrote a quote and personal message inside. The quote says: "There is no remedy for love but to love more."
--Henry David Thoreau

I love mugs. I love hot chocolate. I adore homemade cards. What a "sweet" idea. One year as a poor college student and dateless, I decided to send other dear and dateless friends valentines (I rarely celebrate this day). I typed out on pretty pink paper Shakespeare 116 Sonnet and then stamped swirls in a frame decor around the poem. I didn't really heard much about them but over the next year visiting some of the friends I noticed more than once the poem on display (frig., framed, and one on a bathroom mirror) and my heart was cheered seeing that the sentiment touched some hearts. I too still have homemade keepsakes from friends over the years and of course...my dear babies creations. THanks for the inspiration.
