Mimi is 12! She is growing on me! She read the Fablehaven series and is a big fan. She wanted a party inspired by the books and we had fun. We went to the dollar store and got everything there!
I have never seen a cream puffs cake like this one. I think it is my invention.
I thought real pansies flowers would be fun! Pansies flowers are edible...It is always funny when you tell the kids to eat it! lol
If you read the books, you will think this party is genius!
Chocolate, strawberry and lemon drizzled cream puffs tower with edible yellow pansies flowers.
I used cream puffs from the frozen section. Thaw them and glue them together with melted chocolate. Simply melt chocolate chips in microwave.
The syrups are just Duncan Hines pie fillings
If you read the books...this party will make you smile. We had chocolate chips pancakes. The syrups were Lemon, strawberry and peaches.
An assortment of fruits, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, raspberries and oranges.
The cake and oranges are under a cloche.
Of course, you have to have milk...
Tablecloth from Target.
I started a collection of bird houses. I don't have many but i love them!
Strawberries, orange wedges and lime wedges in the water.
Green plates and color matching napkins. We had book marks as party favors.
The girls made decorated some pretty mirrors with paints, butterflies, stickers and bling.
We had orange, green, yellow and red balloons.
We made some French garden party invitations from potpourri sachets.
I printed these tags from the Graphic Fairy.
Glued them back to the sachets with a ribbon...
Hope you liked the party, we had so much fun putting it together!
Plates, napkins, flower streamers, book marks, candles, sachets, butterfly, stickers, butterfly wings from dollar store.

I haven't read the books but you hooked me with the tower of cream puffs:) Put it under a cloche and you've just elevated it to a whole new level of sophistication, that I'm pretty sure those cream puffs hadn't seen before:)
I also love tablecloths from target, so practical, and they really add a pop of color to a party!
