Day of the dead

Sugar skull picture

I took this self portrait for the day of the Dead. I thought it could be fun and cool.
I just discovered this Mexican event and really like it. Celebrating your loved ones who passed away and have a party to remember them....I like Parties :)
The pictures had the colors intensified. I wanted the blue and red to pop with Black and white.
The Black and white Flower brooch is in my Etsy.

Very cool! I'm an art teacher, artist and LOVE this! I have a friend that does body painting for a living. So cool! I wish she had a website. I'd share. She only posts pictures on FB.

Love the picture Frenchy, you look awesome. Love the way you drew the swirls, did you do it yourself?

I love your black hair, you look so pretty with black hair and blue eyes.

Yes, it's a fun tradition that is celebrated to remember our loved ones that passed on and there are parties everywhere, including the cemetaries.
