Meditation class

4th of July....Fire works in our drive way.

The kids love smoke bombs...

This week i had a meditation class. First time. I loved it.
I don't have a lot of "me" time. It was a nice break and i learn very important tools.

Meditation for me could help stress management. Keep it low and help me being more patient.
The teacher says that Meditation helps you be a better person, more spiritual too.

So 2 days a go. I did 5 minutes. I started falling asleep. Which mean i need to sleep more. LOL

Then Yesterday. 5 more minutes. I noticed that i was more aware of my behavior and calmer after.
LOVE THIS.

My teacher said that he used it for pain management and that it can heal you too....

It works whatever your faith, but i would recommend to find a teacher with the same faith as you.
I find it deeper and more personal.

here some quotes:
"In our worship there are two elements: One is the spiritual communion arising from our meditation; the other, instruction from others...Of the two, the more profitable...is the meditation. Meditation is one of the most secret, most sacred doors through which we pass into the presence of the Lord. (David O Mckay)

"Don't look for solutions to problems in meditation. Rest in that state beyond problems. Divine guidance will emerge from that consciousness. (Ellen Grace O'Brian).

I had a good friend, who was a midwife. She studied the art of hypnotism for women in labor and wanted to try it out on my and a mutual friend. After positioning ourselves in a comfortable, relaxing position, she began by telling us to close our eyes, relax, and picture a room. That's all I can remember. I went right to sleep and she had to wake me up! It had been a long, hard day and I guess I needed that little rest. Who needs hypnotism when you can shut the whole world out?

Fun fireworks pictures.

I'm jealous, I think with kids moms need meditation. I need to find a class. I would love to do the link up on August 1st if you could remind me that would be fantastic! Love the kiddos with the fireworks!

We are spiritual beings with bodies and souls...staying with the straight and narrow...I meditate on the word of God and prayer works for me.

It doesn't cost any money and I can pray anytime, anywhere. Never need an appointment! Fantastic results.

Pain Management caught my eye here! I have Spinal stenosis (which has been acting up lately), but my doctors just don't have any answers for me right now. Maybe I should try this. Thanks for stopping by & have a great day.

Xmas Dolly...Must definetly. My teacher had a car accident and his neck caused him pain. The meditation not only took the pain away but healed him!
