Filling up my bucket!

My Amazing friend and Angel Connie Sokol gave me 2 books for my Birthday. One is her book :
Life is too short for one hair color.

She is an Amazing Author, She helps woman and families create and live their ideal life...She is the President of Life Change.
I read her book right away and i have to say...I want to read it until i memorized it. SO amazing!

She also gave me.... How full is your bucket?
By Tom Rath and Donald O Clifton, Ph.D.
I read it too the same day...
This one explains and tells you that each time you get something negative happening or someone mean or rude, you should do 5 things positive to others.

Here is 2 things you guys need to do this week.
First, taken from Connie's Book.
Choose one thing about a passion you can develop or share with your family this week.

Then if you get something negative happening or someone saying something rude to you. Give 5 amazingly sweet and encouraging comments on 5 blogs! So 5 positive for 1 negative.
I have been doing it and it helped me a lot this week....Brought more positivity in my life and good things came up :)

Thank you Connie...You are a true Angel!

Hey Frenchy, those sound like really good books. I have been trying to do that a lot lately, just being positive when someone is negative, my whole attitute changed after a couple of days. It is really helpful! xx

This is a wonderful post Frenchy and so true...if we let one bad comment or someone else's negative attitude consume us...then they've ruined our day and succeded at what they do best. After my GBS trauma I embraced the motto: don't sweat the small stuff...another one is: This is the only day we HAVE...Have a nice day.

Thanks for the heads up on the books. They sound very interesting. I'll have to try the good advice. We all need more positivity in our lives!

It's rare... very rare that anyone leaves a negative comment on my blog. AND, I've learned that if I can't say something funny, nice or sweet then I just should not comment at all.

It applies for everything. I get more negative from other people out here than on my blog. I think that doing good for others when it happens is such a good tool. I like to send positive through comments on people's blog. Emails are great. Dropping goodies or small gift. Just to say. i care about you and i mean it.

I think there must be a childrens book about the bucket also because my 7 year old came home last week talking about his bucket. I think it's a great lesson for kids. His outlook has been a lot sweeter and he really thinks about the positive and negative things he does and how they effect others,

Thank you Frenchy! We all just need to be reminded to do these nice things now and then even though we already know deep down this would be a super sweet thing to do. Have a great evening from The Great Smoky Mtns in East Tennessee:)
