Chicken TV

The
weather is warming up and i am able to get the baby chicks outside...
I have a Puppy metal fence. I enclose them and they can enjoy some fresh air....I sit in a camping chair....refill the water when empty and i watch CHICKEN TV. Way better than television...LOL
The kids hold the babies.....trading as fast as they pick one....So funny...Then when a favorite is chosen, they will go see the kids next door and talk outside...

For me....It is the best....relaxing....

The ducks make the water super dirty, they get dirt in their beak and shake it in the water...Then shake it around them..HAHAHA...Yeah watch out....

This little red one is the sweetest of the bunch. When you hold her, she just stares at you and stays still.

They are growing very fast....No more tiny baby chicks after just a month....
I have a net on the top in case i have to go for few minutes...Don't want a Hawk getting one..

My linking parties are on my right side bars.

Those are the cutest ever!!! How fun it must be for the kids to have so many pets and they get to hold them and share with neighbors.

You are a lucky ducky=0)
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Thanks for your comment with the fun info on what brought you to Utah. My daughter also go chicks last year and they have been laying for a few months now. It's been a fun adventure for all the family but I'm not sure how the "girls" will survive our Arizona summer heat.

Marysue....There is breeds that do better in hot weather..Than other. I was worry because we get 8 months of snow....But they did fine. I chose hardy breeds. The ones they sell in your area are usually suited for the weather.

Very cute - too bad they don't stay that way. I grew up on a farm, so I'm used to chickens, pigs, cows, horses. For the most part, I miss those days.

It must be chicken day! First you showed us your adorable flock, then Heather Bullard posted about her girls, and I left my brood in their run today while I updated their coop. I guess great minds think alike!

I just love little chicks! We used to have them when we were kids.

We have lived out in the country for a little over a year now and never even though about getting some out here. I know my kids would love having them. :)

Thanks for the follow by the way! I stopped by to follow back! Have a great weekend!
