DIET...DIET

This is a Mango salad to eat with fish...Tomatoes, mango, red onion....

Hubby is on a Diet...I don't know who it is the hardest for....Him, trying not to cheat, LOL.
Or me, cooking lots of veggies and salads for 2 hours a day. He is doing a Diet with exercising every day and healthy meals...Counting his calories....Hmmm I count his calories...

I am so grateful for my Mom, in France we don't have fast food, frozen food like here. You also take the bus to go get groceries.....We have the fresh market once a week..HAAA She cooked great healthy meals everyday...And it took a lot of work to get everything without a car.

Are you on a Diet.... What is the hardest for you?
For me it would be to find the strength to cook and not jump in the car to go get something....Like last night and my burger...Hmmmm. LOL. Thank you for your support Yesterday...Means so much to me :)

First off, I know what you mean by the challenge of raising a family and going to school. But...Women do it, and I know you can too. Just believe, and stay away from those burgers!! Second...It's always hard on men when they're on a diet! It's like when they are sick; the whole world comes to an end. They look at as if they are being tortured. Women look at as "I'm gonna look good in those jeans"!

You have to share your recipe for this Mango salad. It looks yummy! Not only is my hubby on a diet (he is a diabetic) but I am also. And I do appreciate the women of yester-year. But I know you can do it also! have a blessed day!

Hands down my pitfall in dieting is stress/ emotional eating.

I cannot diet - it just makes me hungrier. Better to change your habits over time, but that is difficult, too. the good news is that men tend to be more successful than women at losing weight!

That mango salad looks amazing!

My husband and I visit the farmers market each weekend and try desperately to only eat fresh foods. Have you seen Jamie Oliver's "Food Revolution"? It's what has inspired us!

Loving close to fast food is a killer for sure...I have enough just to manage what I eat in my home! It used to be that man hunted for his food...now everywhere we go it's there in all it's fatness hunting us! Come say hi :D

I am not on a diet, but I have been making some major changes in my eating habits. We do not do very much fast food, but I do like my white bread and desserts! I am switching to whole grains and as much organic as possible. Oh and I started a garden!

Atkins does it for me, quick and easy.

We kinda on the South Beach diet and the only that husband will do. We have been on it before and it changed our habits on eating "bad" foods and limited our sugar and caffine intake. I would say we want to do it as our lifestyle. Feel so much better! But I do have my bread and other sweets in moderation:)

My husband simply will not eat sweet fruit. He likes a good, sharp, tangy, green apple. This fruit salad looks good, but I would have to throw it away because he would not even eat one nibble. *sigh* He is very stubborn... LOL
