The scale can't lie. I weighed myself yesterday morning and I am now at a 13. 4 pounds loss. I am 5.3 at 134.6 pounds.
I exercised 4 to 5 hours a week theses past 4 weeks. The first 2 weeks I didn't go boxing because my baby was sick and husband was out of town. Then I just took some time to walk.
This week I went boxing for 2 hours. Run for 1 hour and did my first leg day with 20 pounds weights. This is new with my routine as I was only walking. I am obviously getting stronger. I want to start doing more weights and build more muscles.
I have been eating between 1200 to 1400 calories per day. Clean eating = Healthy
This time I lost less than the first 4 weeks but I am still happy about the results.
I can tell my body has changed a lot and my muscles are starting to show up.
I was at the store yesterday and can now fit in Small size clothes. I used to be a Large. My feet are also smaller in my shoes.
I am liking my new fit life and get ornery on the days I can't go walk. I think I just changed my life and habits.
I have few more pounds to loose but not that much. I have 4 more weeks to go until I stabilize my calories intake but the working out will stay because I do not want to be skinny. I want to be FIT.
How is your fitness going? Do you go to the gym or stay home? run, walk? Let me know. I can learn from you.
Oh Isabelle, congrats!... what an achievement! I lost last year and kept it off, around 22 lbs. I am also 5'3 and now weight 135lbs. I'd love to reach 130 but it's like I got stocked here! I walk everyday a couple of miles, briskly, that's it, hate weights, lol.. I eat NO CARBS, and that's it! Big hugs,

You are right! Carbs are big! Congrats too on your weight loss! Xo
DeleteGreat Job on your weight loss and fitness goals. I am beginning a new program tomorrow. Like you I will be starting a clean, healthy eating program. Along with that I will be incorporating a workout with both cardio and strength training. In my 30's I was healthy and fit. I got out of the habits quite easily, unfortunately and the pounds have piled on. I'm tired of being tired so I have no excuses. I work out at home and have a full gym here. Will continue to watch your progress. I would love to lose 30 - 40 pounds, I cannot believe that I have gained so much over the years.

Good job! You can do it! Weight is a hard one for sure. Xo
DeleteWAY TO GO! How do you keep the sweets away? Do you have a "cheat" day?
ReplyDeletelaura
Laura. I don't buy sweets so its not in my house. Even if I eat some I look at the calories. It's all about calories. 1200 to 1400 a day that's it!
DeleteAlso I haven't had a cheat day yet. Each time I think. Ok you can eat that and then I only take a couple scoops. I still haven't had my birthday cake and my birthday was in June. Darn. I think it's because it's hard already and I don't want to regret it. I don't know. Just trying hard I guess.
DeleteSpoons not scoops
ReplyDeleteI think you lost less weight this week because you're gaining muscles and they are heavier than fat. Good luck with keeping your good routine.
ReplyDeleteyou rock! I am constantly struggling with my body. My medication, menopause and no thyroid make metabolism almost non existent. I went from a size 6 to a 12!!!! Wow did I just write that.I eat about 1800 calories a day, I walk ( with a cane) and I do exercise ( I should do more) but tears fall onto my scale because I think surely I have lost at least a pound this week yet the numbers on the scale do not budge. Sigh. I will live vicariously through your accomplishment for now. Meanwhile I keep trying xo
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am 5'9" tall.
