Chick...Pooh !

Once upon a time Frenchy told herself that she would only buy chicks if she could buy Americanas and White silkies at one stop. Then Saturday she went to IFA farm store and there they were...saying Mommy take us home...LOL

We have now 5 Americanas chicks. All pullets (girls). They look like Chipmunks.

This is what they look like grown up. They lay blue and green eggs.

And 2 White Silky chicks. Feathers on the legs, blue beak and skin.

Here is one all grown up. They are Bantam and stay small and lay small eggs. Not very good layers, they are fun and great pets. I am most likely to have a rooster out of the 2.

Here is one of my funny video... You can hear Lola, my Fairy and me at the end laughing.

Happy Monday !

  12. Ha! Funny video. So, Americanas are the ones that lay blue eggs. I've had them before, but didn't know what kind of chickens they came from.

  14. I have to admit they are adorable! My husband would die if he saw these because then he will want to move. He wants chicks and he wants them bad. We aren't allowed to have chicks where we live and he is crushed.

If you need a chick sitter, he's your man!
