Shabby Chic Christmas card or memory book

I love to make memory books. When you pay so much for family pictures or when you take favorite pics. Mini family books are a great gift , memory book and conversation piece on you sofa table.
I love to make them in January when it is so boring and cold outside. This year, i made it for Christmas and hanged it on the tree.

First, i made a trial one with photocopies...To get the right size and design.

I ordered the wallet size pictures.

I used a 12 by 12 paper and cut  4 inches pieces.

Folded and glued.

Book i wanted for 6 pictures.

To make the flower, i used 3 different wrapping sheets.

Attached them with a brad and scrunched them up. You can see the tutorial here: English cabbage rose tutorial.
I glued the front page after I attached the flower.
Punched a whole and added twine and a mini tree ornament.
I framed the pictures with contrasting paper and used blue and silver stickers.
My favorite was this "Summer Circus" paper from GCD studio "Paris night". It was my inspiration for the family pictures too.
I did a black and white with blue because they were my colors this year for Christmas but any other colors would work.

If you can't find French paper. You can print and add it to your creation like i did here. I used a Graphic Fairy paper."Eau de Cologne de France".

Love the French picking through.
