Grand tour, The dining room.

I have many parties in this room...

This is the room on the left when you come in the house...

I store all the pretty dishes here...This is a French reproduction...

A Thomas Kincade picture...He is very famous in Utah. I like to study his pictures for landscape inspirations.

Same chandelier as the living room...

Here is my Summer look...

Sunflowers, Rooster and eggs and gingham table cloth...Very French....
Did you know.....The Rooster is The French Emblem like the Eagle is for the United States.
We love our chickens, no doubts....

  3. Oh Frenchy,
Your house should be on t.v.!! And now you get to start with decorating the new one--I can't wait for those pics too!

I had no idea that roosters were significant in France...that is so interesting (I wonder how many people here in the US know that!)

Oh, I wanted to tell you something else too...If you've got a piece of art you made that is inspirational--it could be something about joy,
angels, a landscape, whatever you think fits,
I'd be happy to feature it on my other blog
I Owe it All to Him.

Then, I'd write some theme-based inspirational story and I'd have a link to your blog...

If you've got something you'd like to share, just
    let me know....
    Hugs,
    Cindy

The painter of lights artist Thomas Kincade is very popular every where I go in the midwest as well. Enjoy seeing his work.
