Hawaii Party Tutorial

Last year Lola had an Hawaii Birthday Party....They all waited for the guests...
Even the pets did....

When they arrived, Zacky was greeting them at the door, we gave them each an Aloha necklace to welcome them...

We had the cake first....

To make the cake.....One sheet of cake.....from your favorite recipe or box, freeze the cake...Trace on paper a sandal shape...Cut the paper and use it as a template to cut the cake...Making 2 sandals....
Frost the cake with strawberry icing....Using your colors...Place M&Ms on the side in a triangle design...Use fruit loops for the top of shoe attachment...Add a fake flower on the top....Make sure to plan early to find all the elements and colors....The colors here were Pink, blue, orange and yellow.

Then we made necklaces...With letter beads....

Then later, the little one chased balloons

  1. Oh what fun! The kids are so cute and I love the cake idea. It would be a fun thing for the children to decorate their own 'sandals' too.

What kind of party are you having this year?
